The Change

After many weeks of inviting me to change over to the new Blogger, then telling me it wasn't possible after all, Blogger has finally allowed me to take the big step. It may mean that leaving comments will suddenly become more troublesome, but I hope that won't put you off leaving your mark on my posts.

Hell, I might even change the blog template to celebrate...

My biggest problem with the new blogger was with the way they set up the commenting.
I have since found a way to get around the problem.
The new Blogger is actually really nice to use.
Enjoy..

It is nice to use but converting my template is proving to be a lesson in archane Blogger code - I wonder how many have taken the opportunity to "revamp" the look-and-fee?

I hate the new blogger. I didn't want to switch, but they forced me to, eventually. (not allowing me to sign in without changing over.)

The day I switched, about 30% of my comments turned "anonymous." Thank the Lord, I had email notification, and their real nicks were showing on those, at least.

Also, my Google rating dropped from 5/6 to a 2!!! In one minute!

And now, I can't access the template the way I used to.

aaaaaargh!

the editter: I don't suppose you thought I'd suddenly got a lot of time on my hands and thoughts on my mind eh?

catnapping: Yeah it's definitely a big minus not being able to delve into the html code. And unless I put a bit of work into it, there's not much advantage for me, to using the new one.
