All this knitting, sewing, walking in the woods and working for a not-for-profit has finally put me on the path towards eco-awareness. Better late then never eh? Plus the other stuff in my life.

Not today either
But my mate Desiree came over with a bag full of toys for Baby, a Loony Toons cross-stitch picture (hand crafted!), and The Life of Brian on DVD. I've only seen Brian once or twice, and the last time was ages ago, so I was really pleased that it's still as funny as I remember. And the song at the end, Always look on the bright side of life, is just about the most life-affirming crucifixion song I've ever come across...

hahaha..i love that song..and that movie, of course.
That movie is great.
Did you have the baby yet,tee,hee..
Thanks, mlwhitt. It'll make up for the blog's omission from a certain Mormon ex-reader's blogroll won't it?
Gotta say this movie is far better than the other Python movies I've seen.
I've always wanted to see the Life of Brian, but never got round too it. Bought myself a DVD of The Holy Grail last year - found it in a bargain bin of all places! Decided to let the kids watch it with me one sunny Sunday afternoon - I of course snoozed off only to be woken by a terrified child climbing onto my lap half way through the killer bunny scene. Ooops.
Wait!! Life of Brian is out on DVD?! How did I not know of this?
