All this knitting, sewing, walking in the woods and working for a not-for-profit has finally put me on the path towards eco-awareness. Better late then never eh? Plus the other stuff in my life.

That's one of the things I really notice in supervising family visits: how segregated "boys" toys and games and "girls" toys and games still appear to be. Definitely time for some feminism and gender equality training!
We need some feminism training around here too. At the moment my daughter's life plan is to be a solo mother with no partner and no job.
nigel: that's right!pbs: for sure. There's way too much pink in products aimed at girls.mtnw: well at least she isn't expecting to leave school and get married straight away, which I remember some girls believing when I was about 16.
It is still all out there at least you can teach her she can be whatever she wants to be
