All this knitting, sewing, walking in the woods and working for a not-for-profit has finally put me on the path towards eco-awareness. Better late then never eh? Plus the other stuff in my life.

The god(less) mother
Yesterday we had a lovely visit from The Editter and Flying Kiwi, Baby's god(less) mother. (I'm not sure that god(less) is really appropriate because Flying Kiwi is a pagan rather than an atheist; maybe polygod mother would be more accurate. Maybe people usually mean Godless, not godless.)
Unfotunately Baby wasn't in very sociable mood because she's been suffering from post-vaccination fussiness, but they were very understanding.
So here's a photo of Baby with her god(less) mother, watching season five of Buffy.

I would hazard a guess that god(less) mother is the one watching Buffy. Baby seems more preoccupied with the papparazzi!
Maybe Baby wants to save some Buffy for when she can understand it.
Shes going to be one of those people who tells everyone who dies, I know it! lol
xxB
eb: you mean Flying Kiwi's hair? Nice change from the dreadlocks I say.
rainypete: She's being a classic Leo - likes being the centre of attention. But it's important for her to learn the importance of Buffy too.
boudica: "Shes going to be one of those people who tells everyone who dies" - at first I thought you meant Baby is going to display some gift for precognition; now I think you mean she'll get the twist to any story early on. The latter makes more sense to me 'cos her father does that all the time!
Nice change from the dreadlocks, huh? Just wait until my god(less) daughter is old enough, I'll take her to get her hair done and maybe some piercings (her dad can take her to get the tattoos).
It was wonderful seeing you!
Of course Baby was preoccupied with the paparazzi, it was her Mum!
I didn't understand your "she's a youman" comment on my blog, is it Buffyspeak?
Why nice change from dreadlocks? I'm growing my hair out to get just those same things. Is there something I should know?
At least I now know they'll go fantastically with my tattoos.
I like flyingkiwi's pixie cut. She used to have dreads? This cut is so much better...
The baby looks happy int he picture, at least. Utterly adorable :D
flying kiwi: I'm not sure about the tats, but I'd be happy for you to guide my daughter's hair expressions - I liked your dreads!
editter: it's a Kath and Kim reference actually. I was trying to phonetically spell how they say "human"...
llcoffee: I've nothing against dreadlocks; just thought flying kiwi's latest hair was a nice change.
jon: of the four photos we took, this was the only one in which Baby isn't screaming her head off. Flying Kiwi and The Editter will back me up on that.
That is a spiffy TV that the baby is not looking at!
glomgold: it's the infamous plasma tv...
