All this knitting, sewing, walking in the woods and working for a not-for-profit has finally put me on the path towards eco-awareness. Better late then never eh? Plus the other stuff in my life.
I like your label/category. What would you do if your head WASN'T cemented to your neck?arf
well I suppose I could get a length of bungy cord and a couple of hooks...
You didn't miss much really - at my place the problem was that the southerly picked up at the pivotal moment, pushed all the clouds together and covered up Luna just as she was to turn bloody - sigh! There's a fantastic set of images here:http://www.stuff.co.nz/0a16.htmlandhttp://www.nzherald.co.nz/multimedia/image.cfm?c_id=1&objectid=10460282Enjoy!
desiree: yeah I saw those. It was when I saw them that I remembered what I'd missed the previous night!
It is so hard to remember some things and when you do remember they are clowded over and there is no point. Being blind I miss seeing the stars like I use to. Every now and then I think I see the moon, but it could just be a lamp. I can't tell the difference.
angela: when I was around 10 and looked at stars, they used to look just like the many-pointed stars I saw in picture books. Then I got my first pair of spectacles, and was disappointed that they really only look like tiny pinpricks of light.r
didn't this happen at like 4am or something? i was still having my beauty sleep.
no milk: I guess beauty sleep is way more important that moon-gazing :-), but over our way it was supposed to be viewable at around 9pm.
will you please help me show the world my video thank you so much http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZunLOYBbztc
