And I thought my mum was bad...

I now have evidence that my mum's prodigious amount of post-childbirth advice was probably on the conservative side. According to this article Flying Kiwi sent me, I shouldn't have walked around barefoot, eaten bananas or watched television, in the weeks after Baby's arrival.

And yet there's no mention of ginger.

The little baby in the article was a cutey though. And there is a certain amount of wisdom in the idea that new mothers should take it easy. And, now I come to think of it, mothers of two year olds too. They definitely should get to take it easy.;)

Wow - that was a really interesting article! I especially like the bit about staying in your pyjamas for a month.. I STILL wish I could do that.

mtnw: but would you still be able to take it easy if you had a mother-in-law or mother-in-law-hired-helper in your house 24 hrs a day? ;-)

wicked: if you want to spend all day in your pjs, it's okay with me.
