It means I should be shopping for some nice shoes to go with it, because it wouldn't do to wear it with sneakers, combat boots, ankle boots or boat shoes.
Unfortunately, I don't think I'm going to have time to. Because:
- TLM has another cold,
- my mother needs an overdue ride to the bank to collect her pension,
- TLM's babysitter has quit (she found a full-time job) so I have to find a replacement,
- I need to get the car to the panelbeater's,
- my contract is finishing up and I need to finish a handover document to give to my successor,
- I have several presents to buy for birthdays and the wedding,
- I have to work next Wednesday, which is normally my day off to catch up on the laundry and everything else,
- And I badly need another haircut.

At least with collision repair you can reasonably be sure they're actually doing what they say.
They could be doing anything when they're under the hood.
Over time I think I've put a couple of mechanic's kids through college.
This is why I've been sitting on a government check and riding the bus for the last month and a half.
Oh hooray for the dress!!
And at least now you've got a 'to do' list. So get cracking!
donnasoowho: oh I already had one of those, but now it's just manic!
Oh my you do have a lot to do. You could just glue bricks to the bottoms of some shoes you have and then the dress would not need any shortening.
oh and it would be a workout to walk.
Then at least you would have one less thing to do.
Good luck with your list. Hey at least you have everything written down
Hey, Violet...
Thanks for reading my blog. I have just discovered yours and will delve further...
Are you Korean?
Best,

Hi Twizzle: I'm a Chinese New Zealander. But I'm sure we have a few cultural foibles in common :-)
