Boy-Girl-Boy-Girl

Ta da! I give you the second of my abstract paintings. Basically, it's what you get when you cross a geometry-for-babies DVD with BauHaus-era Kandinsky (I know, I've got a way to go) and an admiration for Shane Cotton's colour palette.

The idea behind the title is that I wanted it to look like a group of children holding hands before launching into a folk dancing lesson.

The photo's at a strange angle 'cos I got the boy to hold it up, out of TLM's reach. Plus, I don't have Photoshop loaded.

It is exciting when creating something on your own. Can't see your picture because I am blind, but it sounds great, very creative.

Yes it's fun and exciting and even uses some of my brain cells. It's a bit of a worry though, when I post up an image of my painting and the only comment I receive is from someone who can't actually see it!

rivergirlie: yes I do believe I may have perused a couple of Paul Klee books in the library, the day before I started this painting...

You know it's actually pretty neat to look at! You should blow that up and make it into a canvas painting, it'd look fantastic~

Hi, lifeasiseeit, thanks for the compliment. Actually, it already is a canvas painting - it's just not a very good photo so you can't tell how big it is.
