All this knitting, sewing, walking in the woods and working for a not-for-profit has finally put me on the path towards eco-awareness. Better late then never eh? Plus the other stuff in my life.

Argh!
So now it starts.
I have the cold that nearly killed the boy over Easter, and which gave TLM a few sniffles the week before that.
It'll be okay as long as this doesn't end up like last winter's hell-in-a-snot-rag.
Although isn't that just alleviating the immediate symptoms? Seriously though since I stared taking multivtamins, probiotics and fish oil I've been super healthy. Admittedly none of them might be doing anything, although apparently the AIS is doing a comprehensive study of probiotics helping to ward off illness with elite athletes... some might be something in it?
donnasoowho: I believe you, but I'm terrible at taking pills - they are always enormous and I always forget to take them after the first week. This is proven by the half dozen of so mostly-full bottles of dietary supplements sitting in the fridge. Thank goodness it's not like that with prescription medications...
tikiL why thank you - it's always nice when someone appreciate my literary efforts! Funnily enough the cold is not progressing much so I think it might actually have been hayfever instead. While I haven't been 100% I definitely haven't been feeling cold-y since I wrote this post.

Flu jab. And start taking multiviamins or something!

donnasoowho: how about drowning myself in hot lemon and honey drinks? That, I can manage.

Hell-in-a-snot-rag is possibly one of the best descriptions of a cold I think I've ever heard. Hope you feel better soon.
