But wriggle out I did and landed on my head...and I'm still OK (I think!).
Him Indoors managed to drop his daughter on her head 2 days out of hospital and she's OK. And my 2 yr-old nephew went for a big face plant at the zoo on Saturday and bounced right back without a single tear!

Kids are very resilient. Like I've said before...you worry too much!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6085694.post-1145319223342168452006-04-18T12:13:00.000+12:002006-04-18T12:13:00.000+12:00wicked: you really couldn't be blamed if you were ...wicked: you really couldn't be blamed if you were (legitimately) high on drugs. I was out of bed as soon as I heard it (pulled all my drips out), but there wasn't a mark on her. I insisted the nurses adopt her out, because I was the worst mother of all, but she's turned out - relatively - okay.
Now you're part of the REAL Mommy Club! :DAli-Bellyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08605573956424016864noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6085694.post-1145264807318344452006-04-17T21:06:00.000+12:002006-04-17T21:06:00.000+12:00flying kiwi: well you had an advantage over Baby, ...flying kiwi: well you had an advantage over Baby, because you were sitting in a placenta full of fluid at the time!Violethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10547452802344363142noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6085694.post-1145242077177075092006-04-17T14:47:00.000+12:002006-04-17T14:47:00.000+12:00My mum fell down the stairs with me when I was jus...My mum fell down the stairs with me when I was just an itty bitty baby and look how I turned out! I was sitting under my highchair, and started playing with the legs of it until it toppled over and hit me on the head, and the other time, my dad was playing 'catch the baby' and sort of, well, dropped me. At least he was sitting down, though apparently my mom was furious with him for about a week ;) My point, these things happen.
